WHAT are INTENSIVES© ?

INTENSIVE TRAINING (IT) © Conferences are one facet of the various methods of training provided by NEW CREATION MINISTRIES . IT© conferences provide “hands on” training to further develop and enhance current ministry skills.

Appropriate for the novice to the seasoned pulpiteer, IT© conferences allow individual discovery of personal strengths in all aspects of ministry. Practical exercises and training create an atmosphere of transparency and safety. IT© conferences are consistently described as “life changing” by attendees from various nations. Pastors and leaders attend IT© conferences to sharpen their skills in all aspects of sermon preparation to the delivery of cutting edge messages.

Ranging in duration from 3-5 days, with attendance limited to 30 attendees, IT© conferences are a dedicated time of intense training, intense fun and intense nurturing.

While many IT© conferences are scheduled worldwide at individual churches for staff training, NCM schedules open enrollment IT© conferences in Phoenix, AZ. each year for pastors and leaders of all denominations.

WHO teaches at INTENSIVES© ?

IT© conferences are taught by Lois E. Burkett, D.D. Dr. Burkett is referred to by many as a “Mother in Israel” because of her lifelong pursuit to nurture and bring healthiness to the church at large.

The prophetic mantle, coupled with her cutting edge insight has made Dr. Burkett a popular speaker for churches, conferences, television and radio in numerous countries. Whether she is preaching, training pastors, or dealing with her own staff, Lois' ministry provides life changing scriptural answers to the practicalities of daily living.

Lois was preaching years before being ordained with the General Council of the Assemblies of God in 1967. She has a Doctor of Divinity degree and is pursuing her second doctorate in Ministry. Dr. Burkett has preached to over 40 denominations and fellowships worldwide. With her traveling ministry, she also co-pastored with her husband, Dr. TC Burkett, for over 20 years in Texas, Oklahoma and Arizona.

NCM STAFF teachers provide support, nurturing and teaching at all Phoenix IT© conferences. Dr. Lois, her husband, Dr. TC and their daughter, Dr. Michelle Burkett work with a ministry staff comprised of Reba Bagley and Rev. Ricki Ray. Years of training have produced a ministry staff from various backgrounds, states, denominations and degrees of m inistry.

WHY attend an INTENSIVE© ?

The group dynamics and training are unique for each IT© conference as God “tailors” the ministry and teaching to speak to every attendee regardless of their varied backgrounds and experiences. The objective of NCM as a whole and of each IT© conference is simply to “minister wholeness to the body of Christ...” Eph. 4:12 Without exception, IT© attendees not only sharpen ministry skills, but receive the nurturing and individual training unachievable in other settings.
