Who We Are

New Creation International Church Ministries (NCICM) was founded by Dr. Lois E. Burkett, D.D, D.M with the purpose of 'bringing wholeness to the Body of Christ'. Ephesians 4:12

The vision of this ministry is to train and equip leaders so their life and message effect healing and wholeness wherever they 'touch' the Body of Christ. Lois, her husband T.C. and daughter Vee Michelle work with an awesome ministry staff. Years of training have produced a team coming from various backgrounds, states, denominations and degrees of ministry. Their goal is to be "trained leaders so they can train leaders".

NCICM believes in 'coming along-side' ministry, providing tools and resources that will prepare today's Christian leadership to serve in ministry with excellence and skill. This is done in a variety of ways: teaching and video resources, correspondence courses, counseling, radio, television, church and camp seminars & 'INTENSIVES'© - concentrated, accelerated training seminars.

New Creations International Church Ministries also serves as an auxiliary campus for Brewer Christian College an excellent educational institution specialized in formal, higher Christian education.

About

Dr. Lois E. Burkett has a lifelong pursuit to nurture and bring healthiness to the church at large. The prophetic mantle, coupled with her cutting edge insight, has made her a popular speaker for churches, conferences, television and radio in numerous countries. Lois’ ministry is unique in providing life changing scriptural answers to the practicals of daily living. Whether she is preaching, training pastors and leaders, counseling those in full-time ministry, or dealing with her own staff, Lois is known to address the places where the practicals of life make a difference.

As founder and president of New Creation International Church Ministries (NCICM) headquartered in Phoenix, Arizona, Dr. Burkett heads a three-faceted ministry. Besides her traveling ministry, she also has a tape/video library, and a staff comprised of leaders trained to train other leaders in various seminars and conferences. Throughout the years, NCICM has developed into a “Church Without Walls” - pastoring pastors and leadership on an international basis. This is accomplished through counseling and training seminars called “INTENSIVES” ©. These “INTENSIVES” © gather small groups of ministers and leaders for intensive training to maximize their ministry giftings and skills through a personal and practical “hands on” approach. Dr. Burkett’s ministry has gone into over 40 denominations and fellowships.

Lois was preaching years before she was officially ordained in 1967 with the General Council of the Assemblies of God. Through educational endeavors - from theology to psychology, from Bible school to secular school - she has received her Doctor of Divinity and Doctor of Ministry degrees. She co-pastored with her husband, Dr. T. C. Burkett, for 20 years. Their daughter, Vee Michelle, also an ordained minister, is a graduate of Bethany Bible College Santa Cruz, CA. She has a Doctorate in Psychology and is currently in private practice with Arizona Counseling Resources in the Phoenix area. The Burketts have also served as ministry staff of the Iverna Tompkins Ministries in Scottsdale, Arizona.

The sum total of Lois’ every endeavor is clearly defined by the scripture in Ephesians 4:12 “...ministering wholeness to the body of Christ.”

WHAT Are INTENSIVES© ?

INTENSIVE TRAINING (IT) © Conferences are one facet of the various methods of training provided by NEW CREATION MINISTRIES . IT© conferences provide hands on training to further develop and enhance current ministry skills.

Appropriate for the novice to the seasoned pulpiteer, IT© conferences allow individual discovery of personal strengths in all aspects of ministry. Practical exercises and training create an atmosphere of transparency and safety. IT© conferences are consistently described as life changing by attendees from various nations. Pastors and leaders attend IT© conferences to sharpen their skills in all aspects of sermon preparation to the delivery of cutting edge messages.

Ranging in duration from 3-5 days, with attendance limited to 30 attendees, IT© conferences are a dedicated time of intense training, intense fun and intense nurturing.

While many IT© conferences are scheduled worldwide at individual churches for staff training, NCM schedules open enrollment IT© conferences in Phoenix, AZ. each year for pastors and leaders of all denominations.

Father spoke to us prophetically about this in the year 2001 using the word SHIFT.We watch the NEWS and absolutely see the fulfilling of scriptures daily!Before the volcano erupted in Iceland in April, God had spoken that these are the times for the Church to ERUPT. She would break forth in cold, frigid, icy environments and change atmospheres, places not usually conducive to what we have visualized for the Church triumphant! We WILL learn to sing the Kings song in a strange land (environment). Psalm 137:3-4He spoke that the eruption would disrupt the powers of the air that hold the keys to the flow of peoples lives. From the eruption, His texture would cover the earth as waters cover the sea. We would see great inconvenience before we see and understand Gods hand. God is standing His Church in the right places at the right time and she will do that which is right (righteous).Our voices will DECREE: SEE HIM!... He who sets on the throne and unto the Lamb be ALL glory, honor, power!Gone are the days that we just consume Gods life ourselves. Hes been texturing His life in and upon us. We can do only as weve seen from our Father leaving His texture on all we touch or pass. These are days of seeing higher than my need, my trouble, my inconvenience.It is our time to see HIM high and lifted up. His train filling our temple Our response? Holy, holy, holy put the live coal to my mouth! Here I am! Send me, O God to establish your Kingdom! Isa 6: 1-9Yet another word.This is an awesome time on our planet.Ministering servants (the angels) have gone into places of stronghold and released or destroyed areas that have concerned us for years. Strongholds are being broken and vacated. However, nature does not constitute a void therefore, the areas that have been won by prayers and supplication, we are to step in and OCCUPY! Let our prayers be sensitive to Fathers heart. Sensitive to things that have been released, broken. Let us not act as if the strongholds already broken are still in effect. This is when our praying is by habit or to no effect. We are not to give back the territory or leave it without a steward. Move into the places released and OCCUPY!We will continue to see disasters, upheavals, etc. especially through the rest of this year. Go back to teachings and prophetic messages God gave from 2001 on SHIFT. We are seeing Word fulfilled.The Church is being equipped - aligned matured. Joyfully His, Dr. Lois

slide 3 Where is God? Why?... Years ago while officiating my older sister Margaret's funeral it was necessary to address two questions. To a church and community that had known our family all our lives and in the midst of a tragic event, I was required to give answers. I had to answer: 1. Where was God when Margaret was being beaten to death? 2. Why do these things happen to Believers? It took awhile for me to settle questions screaming in my own heart but over the years, I am more certain than ever of what God spoke to me and our family during those days of immense tragedy and darkness. 1. WHERE WAS GOD? I spoke at the funeral that God was right there with every cruel blow of fists and feet as my Sister was being brutally beaten to death. 2. WHY DO THESE THINGS HAPPEN TO US? Once again, my answer: because we live in this world. The reason I have related this very private, personal example is because August 29th and September 24th, 2005 brought these same questions to the lives of WHY DO THINGS LIKE THIS HAPPEN? Victims of twin hurricanes Katrina and Rita have raised these questions worldwide: Where is God and Why? As the death toll has surpassed one thousand, as children with parents and other family members are being united, as hearts dealing with death are broken, as victims of devastated homes and personal property are left wondering about tomorrow, as damaged property and cleanup is estimated over 150 billion dollars, as affects of the storms are erratically fluctuating oil/gasoline prices, building supplies, etc. The questions present themselves again and again WHERE IS GOD and WHY? NO, THIS IS NOT GODS JUDGMENT! So many are taking this view trying to explain what we can't comprehend with our physical senses. SCIENTISTS ARE BAFFLED... over the two category 5 hurricanes in one month. They rationalize. Is it Global Warming? Is it simply cyclical changes in ocean temperatures? Is it loop- current (the 100 mile swaths of 80 degree plus water between the mouth of the Mississippi and Florida Keys)? Is it the beginning of the Ice Age? Is it human activity that has caused release of carbon dioxide and other gases related to industrial activity that traps the suns heat raising earths temperature? One article in the Los Angeles Times states: unanswered are the questions. The bottom line is, NO ONE knows. Al- Qaeda says its Gods judgment on America because of our aggression on what they call a holy war. I find that The Church also seems to be as baffled as the scientists. Or at least some voices that seem to think they are speaking for The Church. More than one voice has said: America, get ready. God's judgment has begun. Would it at least be a clue for us to realize that a healthy voice from the Church would NOT be saying the same that the murderous Al-Qaeda is saying!!? I've talked to many believers via phone or while in pulpits across North America since these powerful storms have hit. Some quote prophets as saying God is mad at America and pouring out His judgment on us I cannot agree with this! Why would God choose an area filled with many poor people, elderly or those living far below poverty level to beat up on because Hes mad at us? Some prophesy... that its BECAUSE the Jews were forced from their homes along the Mediterranean shore in Gaza. That America treated Israel wrongly when God's land was divided and thereby brought upon OUR land divine judgment quoting: those who bless Israel will be blessed those who curse Israel shall be cursed Can we agree with this? AS a nation we HAVE NOT cursed Israel. Again, God didnt choose some unsuspecting vulnerable population to release rare beasts upon to say, Aha, now I guess youll be sorry! Some say... that this is God's judgment against one of the most sinful cities in our land so God got tired of the sin and debauchery and made His statement. How can this be a sane voice to represent the Church? First: there are many other nations and cities with sin issues as great as those we see expressed in the U.S.ASecond: Why would God pick on the underprivileged, impoverished, the working families, those of means, the righteous and unrighteous because He was tired of sin? Why would He choose such a diverse population and leave almost unscathed the French Quarter where their claim to fame is not just their rich culture, but also fortune telling, tarot cards, prostitution, etc. In fact, in the aftermath of Katrina with much concern and effort for the care and protection of peoples lives there were those who rode out the storm practicing voodoo, reading fortunes, and using tarot cards in the French Quarter. Let's be serious. Does this sound like our God? Is this the God we are representing and trying to win others to? Was God also mad at China in their recent storms? Is He angry at Japan, Peru, Pakistan, so He sent earthquakes? Did He choose to damage little-known villages and capital cities to say, You dont matter! I'm God and I'm bigger than you! And leave thousands dead and hurting as homes and buildings collapsed around them? Did He send intense rainstorms triggering landslides burying hundreds in Central America (Guatemala, San Salvador, Colombia)? As rivers are pushed over their banks flooding communities and unleashing deadly mudslides.. Is this God's activity? Is this His pastime? Is the urgent need of food in Zimbabwe for a minimum of 4 million people (estimated by UN agencies) Gods way of saying I love you, so Ive caused your harvests to fail? There are dozens of other places with recent destructive events we could cite. THIS ISN'T MY GOD! This is not the FATHER I joyfully serve. This is not the character of Godhead. This is not how God is dealing with us individually, as nations, or as His Church during THIS HOUR. GOD IS drawing us to Himself with mercy. We have NOT tasted of Gods judgment. God doesn't have to use some cheap symbolism weve created and given as interpretation as to the ways and whys of storms and cataclysmic events that mark nations with destruction. TRYING TO COINCIDE events of Israel with devastating storms, is a stretch to say the least! I've been grieved as I listen to ministers trying to explain what is so hard to comprehend in the face of human suffering. Our SOUND is so mixed and laced with human ideologies and philosophies. Where is the SOUND voice? Where is the SANE voice? Where is the SAFE voice?Some say... I dont know what to tell my congregational members. Is this God or ??? THE SANE VOICE will always be found in scripture. Romans 8:19-23 tells us the whole creation and ourselves also are waiting and longing to be released from sins weight. Creation is groaning and moaning in pains of labor and so are we. Sin's weight is suffocating. The scripture continues, knowing there are blissful things to come when God's Church is Revealed. When resurrection LIFE is shown forth (2 Cor. 4:10). For years, as Church people, weve been curious as to what God would speak to us through prophecy. Of course, our stance has been one of three things: 1. Receive prophecy but with no intent for it to impact our life. 2. Receive it to cover our insecure areas. Wanting to hear from God time and time again that, he loves us, Youre special, I care for you, Come to Daddy God and let me stroke you, etc., etc. We've kept prophecy impotent. Only accepting what would tell us again how special we are, but not allowing Holy Spirit to work within to bring us to places of growth. Places that we have some things nailed down. Todays Believers need to have the fact secure that God loves us and were special. Instead, weve kept our insecurities and used personal prophecies to speak to those areas but not necessarily allow growth or maturing. Weve just wanted someone to prophesy away our insecurities and say, Im Okay, You're Okay Prophesy to help me feel good. 3. There have been those who hunger for higher and allow the prophetic to speak of kingdom, of God's character, and our place of strength as His Sons and Daughters with knowledge of the Fathers Business. People who sense what is vital recognizing the highest and the best, not stumbling, but abounding and filled with fruits of righteousness that God may be both manifested and recognized (Philippians 1:10). Growing and being able to stand firmly therefore having Truth and Integrity, girded with strength strong feet shod to step forward standing in position even with threat of bodily harm. Steady, strong, established making spiritual progress even in our places of trouble or responsibility (Ephesians 6, Habakkuk 3). People who are not offended towards God or man, no matter the circumstances. (Luke 7:23 Amplified). For me to live is Christ and that Christ would be glorified and magnified in this body of mine. Christ would be boldly exalted in my person whether through my life or my death Phil. 1:2. But but I thought nothing like this ever happened to Gods people.. FAITH doesn't PREVENT EVERYTHING! But FAITH does carry us through EVERYTHING!In this world you will have trouble (trials, distress, and frustration); but be of good cheer, (take courage, be comforted, confident, and bold). for I have overcome (conquered, prevailed with victory) this world. John 16:33 AmplifiedMan is born few days full of trouble (commotion, restlessness, disquiet, crashing thunder, violet emotion, quake, quiver, shaking) Job 14:1But man is born to trouble. (worry, misery, pain, sorrow, wearisome, wickedness) Job 5:7..we are troubled (crowded, afflicted, suffer) on every side 2 Corinthians 4:8 .there will be earthquakes in various places; famines and calamities; intolerable anguish and sufferings the first of the birth pangs. Mark 13:8 . we shall suffer tribulation I Thessalonians 3:4 .the rain falls upon the upright and the wrongdoers alike. Matthew 5:45 God observes the righteous and would have saved Sodom and Gomorrah in spite of their sin being exceedingly grievous for only the presence of 10 righteous. (Genesis 18: 26-32). HEAR THIS... God is my strength in times of trouble (tightness, adversity, affliction, anguish, distress) Psalm 37:39 God is our refuge and strength; a very present and well proved help in trouble. Psalm 46 Call upon Me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble Psalm 91:15 Though I walk in the midst of trouble You will stretch forth Your hand. Psalm 138:7 O Lord every morning You are my salvation in the time of trouble. Isaiah 33:2 Gods heart is to raise up not tear down. It is the enemy who comes to kill, steal, and destroy. John 10:10 WHEN WILL THE CHURCH have a healthy concept of Gods character and His dealings and His intentions? I believe the prophetic is spoken to READY THE CHURCH! New things I now declare; before they spring forth I tell you of them. Isa. 42:9The prophetic is the Voice within the Church that prepares Her for more than only distributing humanitarian acts (even though these should NOT be left undone). The Church has a call to be higher than humanitarian organizations. Oh, that we would rise to a higher level than our circumstances.. not allowing our opinions to be formed by newspaper headlines but we let the Prophetic have its perfect work. To allow the prophetic to prepare the Church BEFORE we see things happen! Were not to be the ones surprised but prepared! Where is the tribe of Issachar? Men who had understanding and knew the times but ALSO KNEW WHAT ISRAEL (the Church) was to do. I Chronicles 12:32 THE VOICE OF THE CHURCH is to be higher than a category 5 hurricane! Were not to be overwhelmed at circumstances that go beyond our human comprehension. There is a Greater that we say, Is in control! Do we believe that? Anyone who stands in a room full of questions with real and right answers will be the Leader. Oh, God, let the Church hear that voice and call us forth! God is not judging but Hes come to raise up the Greater a Greater Voice than circumstances of loss and disaster! A Greater Voice that speaks to nations in crisis a Truth that brings encouragement, hope, and comfort. The Church is here as SALT. If the salt has lost its characteristics of preserving, purifying, seasoning, creating thirst, it is to be considered of no effect. Unintelligent, morose, dull. Where in the world to hold the worlds attention by Gods Glory (HIS character) upon and thru us! speaking spiritual wisdom instead of philosophies or intellectualism. Natural disasters can make our hearts tender again. Can renew our impetus to advance in spite of. It can cause us to reconnoiter, re-evaluate, be judged (the time has arrived for judgment to begin with the house of God). Judgment in I Peter 4:17 means to make some decisions; sense what is vital turn our focus there! It's to cry out, make us bolder, reaffirm, freshen our confidence, purify our motives, let me not be offended by circumstance. Learning to humble ourselves, stripped from pride and arrogance be well-balanced, temperate, sober-minded, vigilant, cautious, be firm in faith. Let Gods strength establish and settle us. Philippians 1:12 14; I Peter 5. LET US LEARN THE DIFFERENCE in blessing. Is it merely goods, things, etc? Im blessed goes beyond possessions and bank balances. America has been raised up by God for a number of ministries to the World. One Ministry from this Christian nation is to be a bread-basket to other Nations. The enemy tries to steal and deplete Americas purpose established by God to bless and lift up others. The enemy (the one who kills, steals, and destroys) has tried to steal Americas SEED. The seed that is to enlarge and keep prospering. Through disasters, the enemy tries to enhance hurt and suffering as a result, depleting Americas resources that are to bless, establish, feed, nurture, etc. The Church must find her Voice. The Voice of Truth! The trumpet that gives the clear, distinct sound. The Voice that speaks of a God who blesses and restores. He heals no matter what happens (that is devastating) we know GOD REDEEMS! AT LEAST THESE TWO THINGS hold us steady in times of Crisis: 1. Knowing Gods character. As already stated, it is to heal, restore, establish, redeem, etc. 2. Know we live in this world. In the world we will contend with natural circumstances. REMEMBER: Our FAITH doesnt prevent everything it carries us THROUGH EVERYTHING!!! If we truly KNOW GODS CHARACTER we will not ask, Where is God? We will KNOW! He is beside us; Even when our paths may contain devastation. Well never have to ask, Why do these things happen? WE KNOW! It is because: we live in this world there will be things to contend with and rain falls on the just and unjust. SO WHERE DO WE GO FROM HERE? We allow our hearts to be searched, perspectives changed, purging and purifying to take place in our relationship (daily walk) with God. Yes, we will groan. cry out but the sufferings of this present time are not worth being compared with the GLORY (God's character) that is about to be revealed to us and in us and for us and conferred on us! Romans 8:18 WE'RE GOING THROUGH PAINS of labor. But there are blissful times to come (Romans 8:23 Amplified). REDEMTION! ADOPTION! THE REVEALING OF GODS CHURCH! The One He has called forth! The One that has learned Truth and His character. The One speaking spiritual wisdom, living by Gods purpose, Sons with knowledge. Fathers, Mothers in the household birthing, speaking God's desire and intentions. Who shall separate us from Christs love? Shall suffering, afflictions, tribulations, calamity, distress, persecution, hunger, destitution, peril, or even death itself? YET AMID ALL THESE THINGS we are more than conquerors. slide 4 "THIS DAY" ... I have been asked by many ministers and congregation members what I believe God is saying...First, just the number "5" in scripture always speaks of God's Grace and God's Goodness. I believe in all things, situations and events -- personally or corporately - locally or on the world stage -- all we face or encounter in the space of time ahead, that God's Grace has been promised to us to be sufficient! In all happenings, I have seen Father's hand finding openings in our lives to place His goodness, His likeness, His character within us. That's Good News! I can't help but feel hope "in spite of...." I can't help but feel a stirring and excitement "in spite of...." According to Revelation 3:3 we are being exposed to situations to learn lessons for THIS DAY. We're not "just surviving" or trying to "hold on". We are being schooled and prepared for THIS DAY. I have also been asked about and reminded of a prophecy I gave to the New Creation Ministries Staff in October 2000. I've preached bits and pieces of it in churches across our land. The prophecy spoke of earthquakes in the islands that would certainly cause Tsunamis. It also spoke that the quake would shift the earth's axis... and for us not to live as if we are without knowledge. When we begin to see extremes in weather, talk of global warming, return of the ice age, or global changes, we are to know the axis has shifted also in the spiritual realm. Sometimes after an earthquake takes place in the natural, it is hours or days before the result hits coastlines with Tsunamis. God spoke that the earth has quaked (spiritual sense) and to give heed. While we are going about our "church" activities and programs we must know the shift has happened to prepare accordingly. Those congregations, pastors and leaders who only strive and thrive on miracles and manifestations.... the axis has shifted! The full impact may not yet have hit the coasts, but the shift has taken place. We're not going to get by with "general fare" or feeding "shucks and pods" when there's going to be a people hungry for much more. God has been encouraging ministers and believers who preach and speak a Word that a New Day was coming. While so many run here and there for their "portion of a miracle/manifestation" (what they consider "their divine right"), God has a people of hunger that is rising up. A people whose spiritual man is not totally satisfied by just "another manifestation", even though we certainly thank God for His blessings, miracles and manifestations. There is going to be a Company of Believers whose heart beats after Father's heart wanting to KNOW HIM... not just about Him. This company has realized that God's gifts do not fully identify God's character to us. We want to KNOW GOD. The axis has shifted! Let me immediately say that this prophecy does not indicate God sends the earthquakes and Tsumamis "to teach us a lesson" or "purge population" or any of the other unhealthy "explanations" floating about spoken from voices of visibility. But, according to Romans 8:21-23, even creation - the earth -groans under the sin weight, waiting for release. Since God gave this prophecy in year 2000 I have heard reports, read articles, etc. by scientists explaining "what's happening to earth" and "global changes". Exact quotes form scientists about the "earth's tilt on its axis...", "Changes in the earth's position relative to the sun...", "changes of the earth's position in its orbit relative to the sun....", "Changes of earth's position in its orbit and the 'precession of equinoxes'...", etc. I quote from an article after the South Asian earthquake, "... a massive quake like this one will affect both the earth's rotation and it's wobble about its axis, experts said... but only the most sensitive instruments will detect it" (Seismologist Hiyoo namori of Cal Tech). Let us act according to what Father has spoken. A shift has taken place - are we aware of it in our churches, our ministries and our personal walk with God? Are we the sensitive instruments that can detect it? God has something to say and establish in THIS DAY. Are you a minister/believer of the WORD? Can we detect this hour? Do we perceive it? Do we know it? Will we give heed to it? (Isa. 43:19 Amp) Because of "Soul Talk" in our churches and places of leadership, we have formed "living skeletons" but not healthy, robust, energized, empowered Believers. (Eph 6:10 Amp) "Soul Talk" is preaching/teaching that builds soul rather than Spirit. What God can do for ME? How He can meet MY need. It's all about ME. A "Just Jesus and ME" philosophy - just wanting Gifts and Power to impress others with how important or good we are. Never seeing beyond My circumstances to know why we're Sons and Daughters. What is it to do business in Father's name? Do we know the value and joy of having received the Spirit of Adoption because of The Pedagogue (Holy Spirit) teaching us the ways of the Household producing Sonship! (Romans 8:15). Do we Preach and live WORD that feeds hunger and clothes nakedness - I'm speaking of more than physical needs. "Soul Talk." We've formed our "teachings" and "beliefs" on it. I saw nations of the world from the most lavish cathedrals to the lowliest huts where people were gathered for "church". From air conditioned, luxurious padded pews to dark-skins sitting on the ground with light rain falling... All gathered to hear... to be ministered to... In common to each scene that God showed me, were skeletons with skin stretched tightly on bones... emaciated. I asked, "Father, what am I seeing?" And He spoke, "I've just shown you the results of preaching/teaching 'Soul Talk'." BUT THE AXIS HAS SHIFTED! Those of you yearning for people to hear the Word as you teach/preach/share... yearning for a time in our service that witnessing will be of Spirit instead of promising incentives to get "faithfulness". Preaching Word and having people go to another church saying, "Things are happening over there that really excite me"... and you see your congregation and growth dwindle... again... Good news! The DAY has come! THE AXIS HAS SHIFTED! In some areas the full impact may not have reached your shore... but don't act as if you are without the knowledge of This Day! A Day of learning, a Day of lessons, A Day of circumstances, a Day of finding Grace sufficient as Father continues to show us HIS goodness, HIS likeness, HIS character being formed in HIS SONS and DAUGHTERS. God spoke this to us over four years ago to prepare us and give knowledge of THIS DAY. "Behold, former things have come to pass, and new things I now declare; before they spring forth I tell you of them." (Isa. 42:9 Amp) Now that's GOOD NEWS! Joyfully His, Dr. Lois
